“We must be careful not to discourage our twelve-year-olds by making them waste the best years of their lives preparing for examinations.” - Freeman Dyson
It is often said that creativity is the ability to see things differently. To look at the world and imagine what could be rather than what is. This is something that we should encourage in our children from a young age. If they can see it in their minds, then they can create it in real life. All too often, however, creativity is stifled by the pressure to conform. To follow the beaten path and stick to the status quo. We must be careful not to discourage our twelve-year-olds by making them waste the best years of their lives preparing for examinations. Instead, we should encourage them to explore their creativity and imagine all the wonderful things that they can achieve. Who knows, we may even end up inspiring the next Freeman Dyson.
